CTHRA Webinar to Review Industry Compensation Trends and Benchmarks

Naperville, Ill., October 15, 2009—The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) invites members to look at and discuss the 2009 results of its Annual Compensation Surveys during an interactive webinar on Tuesday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. A total of 59 MSOs and programmers participated in this year's surveys reporting results for 163,000 positions. However, even CTHRA members that did not participate in the survey will find value in the webinar, as it will provide insight into how companies use the data to make strategic decisions and drive business performance. The 60-minute program will also discuss benchmarks and major trends, as well as differences among the operators and programmers.

The webinar will be led by Hali Croner, president of The Croner Company, the research firm which conducts the survey for CTHRA, and Linda Chambers, SPHR, vice president of corporate human resources for Bright House Networks, CTHRA board member and co-chair of the survey.

"The economic environment has prompted many companies to assess their compensation practices, and CTHRA's Annual Compensation Surveys provide a valuable, industry-specific barometer that companies can use for decision making," shared Pam Williams, CTHRA's executive director.
Given the deep-dive discussion that will take place, participation in the program is exclusive to HR professionals within CTHRA's membership community. Secure, online registration is available at http://www.cthra.com/webinar.php at an affordable price point of only $59. CTHRA will release result survey highlights to the public later this month.
