Naperville, Ill., October 7, 2009—The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association’s (CTHRA) and CTAM announced Kimberly Hulsey, senior vice president of legal affairs and HR strategy for TV One LLC, as the recipient of the 2009 CTHRA-CTAM Summit Fellowship. The Fellowship, which represents a unique collaboration among the two nonprofit associations to bridge marketing and HR, provides Hulsey with a complimentary registration to CTAM’s annual marketing confab which will take place in Denver on October 25-27 during Cable Connection week.

"CTAM and CTHRA share an understanding of the value of providing educational opportunities to every member," said CTAM President and CEO Char Beales. "We’re pleased to have forged this partnership and excited for Kimberly Hulsey to be empowered to take full advantage of all The Summit offers."

Planned by industry leaders, the CTAM Summit delivers visionary insights from the industry’s leading strategic thinkers, actionable take-aways to impact business strategy and a forum for exchanging ideas and thinking differently about marketing and technology based products.

When asked why she wanted to attend the event, Hulsey replied, “I am convinced of the interconnection between good talent and the marketing necessary to make cable programming and cable delivered services relevant to the household consumer. Thanks to the CTHRA-CTAM Summit Fellowship, I’ll gain insight into marketers’ perceptions of the industry which I can then factor into workforce optimization strategies that will allow my company to overcome marketplace challenges such as waning margins and intensified competition.”
