CTHRA Advances Mission with New Membership Structure Naperville, Ill. – The board of directors for the Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) announced plans to revamp its membership structure in support of the organization’s strategic plan. Previously, individuals participated in CTHRA by paying an annual membership fee of $175. Beginning this year, a flat corporate participation rate will provide an unlimited number of employees within a member organization with access to CTHRA’s portfolio of member benefits which encompass a wide-range of human resources disciplines including compensation, benefits, staffing, training, diversity and HR information systems. CTHRA’s board established the 2005 corporate participation rate at $250. “Our new membership structure directly supports CTHRA’s mission to improve organizational and industry-wide success. By increasing the number of individuals with access to the proven best practices and resources provided by CTHRA, each participating company will be better equipped to address increasingly complex human resources issues. In addition, CTHRA’s members will gain an expanded network of industry professionals to call upon to share knowledge, experiences and solutions,” stated Brian Koenig, CTHRA’s president and senior vice president of human resources for Scientific-Atlanta. CTHRA’s
members represent 85 companies and organizations throughout the cable
and telecommunications industry. The association is currently notifying
members of the structure transition and will begin an industry-wide
membership campaign next month.
