CTHRA’s NYC Roundtable Will Feature FORTUNE’s Nadira Hira With Focus on Generational Issues in the Workplace

Naperville, Ill., March 11, 2008 – On April 9 in New York City, the Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) will conduct a roundtable discussion for human resources executives focused on the impact of generational issues in the workplace. The discussion will be facilitated by Nadira Hira, a general assignment writer at FORTUNE who focuses on stories about Generation Y, the fastest growing segment of the American workforce.

Since authoring FORTUNE's widely discussed 2007 cover story on Gen Yers and their impact on Corporate America, Nadira—herself a Yer—has continued to investigate the struggle many companies face in trying to engage today’s multigenerational workforce in the fight to mentor, manage, and maintain the corporate leaders of tomorrow. Nadira was a recipient of the NewsBios 30 under 30 award in 2007, and has been featured on a variety major television and radio outlets, including HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, VH1's The Fabulous Life, CBS's The Early Show, BET's Black Carpet, ABC's American's Black Forum, MSNBC, CNBC and BBC-A.

CTHRA’s roundtable event will begin at 8:15 a.m. at A&E Television Networks located at 235 East 45th Street on the 14th floor. Continental breakfast will be served. Human resources practitioners are invited to attend this free event. Additional details are available at www.cthra.com.
