CTHRA Invites Industry Companies to Participate in 2008 Human Capital Metrics Survey

Naperville, Ill. – The Cable Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) announced an invitation to cable and satellite companies to participate in its third annual Human Capital Metrics Survey. The deadline to register to participate is April 7, 2008.  The research initiative establishes industry-specific benchmarks for metrics that quantify how industry companies leverage human capital. Saratoga, a PricewaterhouseCoopers Human Resources offering, will conduct the survey and compile the results on behalf of the nonprofit organization.

"Quantifying the impact of a company's people practices is incredibly valuable for strategic decision making and performance management. CTHRA's research provides benchmarks that allow a company to assess its efforts and establish measurable, meaningful goals that enable leaders to more effectively drive the business," stated Lynne Ramsey, CTHRA's president and senior vice president of human resources for Charter Communications.

Sixteen companies participated in the 2007 survey and CTHRA is seeking to increase participation this year. Companies interested in participating in the 2008 survey should contact Saratoga's Shebani Patel (408) 817-7445 or Pamela Healy (646) 471-8518 by April 7.
