Comcast VP Bill Strahan Joins CTHRA Board of Directors

Naperville, Ill.— During its first quarter meeting, the Cable Telecommunications Human Resources Association's (CTHRA) board of directors unanimously approved the appointment of Bill Strahan to the board of directors. Strahan is the vice president for compensation and benefits for Comcast.

"With nearly 25 years of human resources experience, Bill Strahan is a valuable asset to CTHRA's board of directors. We look forward to leveraging his insight to advance CTHRA’s mission," said Lynne Ramsey, CTHRA's president and senior vice president of human resources for Charter Communications Inc.

Strahan will serve on CTHRA's 2008 Symposium Committee and will assist in the development of CTHRA's 2008 Employee Benefits Survey.

Prior to joining Comcast in 2006, Strahan managed the Philadelphia office for Mercer HR Consulting, the world’s largest HR consulting firm. His career has also included practicing law in the area of compensation and benefits and several corporate HR roles. Strahan holds a B.A. from Villanova University; a Certificate in Employee Benefit Administration from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctorate from the George Mason University School of Law. His writings have been published in numerous books, articles and speeches.
