CTHRA Announces 2007 Benchmarking Initiatives Naperville, Ill., March 6, 2007 —The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) announced it will spearhead four industry-specific benchmarking initiatives in 2007. They include CTHRA’s much-anticipated annual assessment of compensation among cable and satellite multiple systems operators (MSOs), its annual programmers’ compensation report, CTHRA’s second annual study of human capital metrics and an evaluation of employee benefits. Data for each project will be compiled via confidential online surveys administered by three research firms. The Croner Company will manage the compensation surveys and reports. Saratoga, a PricewaterhouseCoopers Human Resources offering, will conduct the human capital metrics survey and assessment, and Standard & Associates will oversee CTHRA’s 2007 employee benefits effort. “As executives increasingly emphasize human capital’s role in achieving business objectives, we have seen a demand for industry-specific benchmarks.
