CTHRA Announces Symposium Program Committee and Event's Return to Atlanta on October 13

Naperville, Ill., May, 19, 2008 - The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) announced it will return to Atlanta for its 2008 Achieving HR Excellence Symposium on October 13, 2008.

“The record-breaking turnout at last year's symposium in Atlanta prompted us to consider returning in 2008. With the support of several CTHRA member companies located in Atlanta, plans are underway for a can't-miss event,” said Lynne Ramsey, CTHRA's president and senior vice president of HR for Charter Communications.

CTHRA's Symposium will feature keynote addresses by leading experts, break out sessions and an awards presentation. The session program is being organized by a committee comprised of Adria Alpert-Romm, senior vice president of human resources, Discovery Communications; Karen Bennett, senior vice president of human resources, Turner Broadcasting System Inc.; Dina Galeotafiore, vice president of human resources, Comcast Programming Group; Erin Hand, vice president of talent and development, Cox Communications; Juan Munoz, regional vice president of human resources, Time Warner Cable Texas Region; and Bill Strahan, vice president of compensation and benefits, Comcast Cable.
