
CTHRA Achieving Excellence Symposium Leveraging Individual Assessment to Impact Organizational Success Naperville, Ill. – The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA) announced two leading professional development experts will present a session titled “Improving Organizations through Individual Awareness” during CTHRA’s Achieving Excellence Symposium on May 18 in Atlanta. During the session, David Heine, Ph.D. and Wanda Brown will demonstrate how organizations can develop competitive advantages and improve the bottom line by implementing a self assessment process that focuses on maximizing individual effectiveness. The speakers will highlight strategies HR professionals can leverage to help key leaders obtain personal insight into development opportunities to ensure they have the skills necessary to contribute to the organization’s long term goals. Dr. Heine is the executive vice president for consulting and service practice areas at Personnel Decisions International (PDI). Organizations around the globe seek his insight to improve business performance by upgrading their talent. Brown has more than a decade of human resources, management and consulting experience. She currently serves as director of The Enneagram Institute, a management consulting firm specializing in organizational improvement. In addition to the session on the impact of individual awareness on organizational success, CTHRA’s Achieving Excellence Symposium will feature Thomas Brooksher, president and CEO of NCTI. Brooksher’s session is titled “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution: HR’s Strategic Role in the Future of the Communications Industry”. Other distinguished speakers will lead sessions on “Creating Value—The Shift from Cost to ROI” and “HR’s Strategic Role in Reducing Risk ”.
