Faculty Bios
Hali Croner is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Croner Company, a compensation consulting firm that specializes in compensation design in specific industries.  In addition, The Croner Company is known for conducting in depth compensation surveys in selected industries.

The Croner Company conducts CTHRA’s two annual compensation surveys:  the MSO survey (Cable and Satellite Compensation Survey) and the Programmers survey (Cable Programmers / Broadcast Networks Compensation Survey).  Over the past four years that they have been conducting the survey, The Croner Company, CTHRA’s Board and the survey participants have worked together to expand and enhance the surveys to cover more positions and include more compensation analyses that are relevant to the wide range of survey participants.

Ms. Croner runs The Croner Company’s compensation consulting and compensation survey businesses.  She has 18 years of consulting and research experience, including work as a Research Analyst with an international “think tank”, and as a Consultant with Sibson & Company.  She earned her A.B. degree from Dartmouth College where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  She works extensively with cable programmers, cable operators, multimedia software and online organizations, helping them to create and keep current their compensation programs.

Linda Chambers, SPHR, is Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for Bright House Networks.  Chambers provides Human Resource leadership for the Bright House Networks cable footprint company-wide and has overall accountability for ensuring consistency of human resource policies within Bright House Networks.  She works closely with the divisions to support and assist them with critical initiatives supporting the company’s growth and operational well-being.

Prior to her current position, Chambers served as the Vice President of Business Affairs during a period of dramatic growth for the Tampa Bay Division.  Her responsibilities included overall management of the Human Resources, Public Affairs and Customer Service functions.  Prior to Bright House Networks, Chambers held human resources, public affairs and customer service positions of increasing responsibility with Group W Cable, Paragon Cable and Time Warner Cable.

Chambers serves on the Board of Directors of the Cable & Telecommunications Human Resources Association, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Women in Cable & Telecommunications and is the Chapter Advisor and Board Member of the Greater Florida Chapter of WICT.  She was a Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Class XII Fellow.  In addition, she has served as a United Way Leadership volunteer.

Chambers earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
