Our next Think Tank for HR Executives will be held April 1-2, 2014 and will feature Professor Patrick Wright, Thomas C. Vandiver Bicentennial Chair in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.  Professor Wright teaches, conducts research, and consults in the area of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM), particularly focusing on how firms use people as a source of competitive advantage and the changing nature of the Chief HR Officer role.  In addition, he writes the twice-monthly blog “View from the Top” focused on CHRO issues for the HR Policy Association and serves as the faculty leader for the NAHR/Cornell “Top Seat” program aimed at developing future CHROs. In both 2011 and 2012 he was named by HRM Magazine as one of the 20 “Most Influential International Thought Leaders in HR”.
